01 Overview
Lixby Solver (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a math-focused application designed to help users solve mathematical questions, review previous solutions, and perform calculations.
We aim to collect and use only the information needed to operate, maintain, protect, and improve the app. This policy describes the categories of information that may be processed when you use Lixby Solver.
02 App features
The Calculator may perform calculations directly on your device. AI Math Solver requests may require an internet connection.
03 Information we handle
Depending on the app version and the permissions or features you use, the following categories may be processed:
- Math questions and prompts: the text or mathematical expressions you submit to the AI Math Solver.
- Solution history: questions, answers, and related timestamps saved when you use the History feature.
- App and diagnostic information: technical details such as app version, device type, crash reports, and performance data, if diagnostic tools are enabled.
- Support messages: information you choose to provide when contacting us for help.
We do not ask you to enter sensitive personal information into math questions. Please avoid including passwords, financial details, or other private information in prompts.
04 How information is used
Information may be used for the following purposes:
- To process your math questions and provide solutions.
- To display and manage your saved solution history.
- To operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve app performance.
- To detect abuse, protect the service, and prevent technical or security issues.
- To respond to support requests and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not describe or promise any use of information beyond what is necessary for the features and services actually enabled in your app.
05 AI processing
When you submit a question to the AI Math Solver, the question may be transmitted securely to our backend and/or an external AI service provider so that a response can be generated.
Those providers process submitted content under their own terms and privacy practices. We encourage you not to submit personal, confidential, or sensitive information as part of a math question.
AI-generated answers can sometimes be incomplete or incorrect. Please independently check important calculations and do not rely on the app as a substitute for professional advice.
06 Saved history
The History feature allows you to revisit previous questions and solutions. Depending on the app's implementation, history may be stored locally on your device or on our servers.
You should be able to remove saved entries using any delete or clear-history controls provided in the app. Uninstalling the app may remove locally stored information, but may not delete information stored on a server or by a third-party provider.
08 Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
09 Data retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Retention periods may differ depending on whether information is stored on your device, on our systems, or by a third-party provider.
10 Children's privacy
Lixby Solver is a general-purpose math utility. It is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children without any consent required by applicable law. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the request.
11 Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
You can also stop using the app at any time. To request deletion of information held by us, contact us using the details below and explain what you would like deleted. We may need to verify your request and may retain certain information where legally permitted or required.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our app, services, or legal requirements change. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
